From first kicks, throws and baskets to confident game play-scrimmages, Skyhawks-SuperTots Sports Colorado is the pathway to introduce kids, ages 2-14, to sports. We Teach Life Skills through Sports helping kids grow their confidence and embrace teamwork while creating a fun environment. We offer the most youth programs in the state including year-round classes and camps in 13 different sports in a variety of program formats, plus other non-sport active programs that allow your kids to find what they’re passionate about playing.
Effective coaching requires more than knowledge; it requires connection. Our curriculum is designed to meet children at their specific developmental stage. Whether it is using "guided discovery" to teach a 2-year-old color recognition during SoccerTots or teaching a 10-year-old the mechanics of a pick-and-roll, the connection is deliberate. We hire Paid Coaches—never random volunteers—who undergo 20+ hours of training to ensure they can make these connections safely and effectively.
The goal of youth sports should be engagement, not just exhaustion. We define success by the "Spark"—that moment of enthusiasm when a child realizes they can do it. By using age-appropriate equipment (like foam balls and lowered hoops) and a "play-first" approach, we remove the fear of failure. This ignites a lifelong love for physical activity that outlasts the season.
Sports are the vehicle; character is the destination. We strive to leave a lasting mark on a child’s self-esteem. We recognize traits like "Respect," "Teamwork," and "Resilience" alongside athletic achievement. When a child leaves our field, they carry an internal imprint of confidence that translates to the classroom and the community.
